O Corinthians bateu a marca de 1 milhão de ingressos vendidos nesta temporada. Com os mais de 37 mil torcedores que acompanharam a vitória do Timão sobre o Vasco, por 1 a 0, na manhã do último domingo, o clube paulista registrou a marca milionária – a segunda melhor do país em 2019, atrás apenas do Flamengo com mais de 1,3 milhões de entradas comercializadas.

Até aqui, em 30 jogos nesta temporada, o Corinthians levou 1.034.911 pessoas à sua arena no extremo leste da capital paulista. Com isso, o clube faturou mais de R$ 52 milhões com a arrecadação de bilheteria. Vale lembrar que este dinheiro fica retido para o pagamento do empréstimo feito pela Caixa Econômica Federal para a construção do estádio.

Os números colocam o Corinthians com a segunda melhor média de público do futebol brasileiro na temporada. Até aqui, a Fiel registra 34.497 torcedorres por partida em 2019, número apenas superado pelo Flamengo com quase 50 mil pagantes por jogo no Maracanã. A ocupação média de Itaquera ultrapassa os 70% dos lugares disponíveis.

Agora, como disputa apenas o Campeonato Brasileiro até o fim do ano, o Corinthians tem apenas mais sete jogos em sua casa em 2019. O clube do Parque São Jorge briga por vaga direta na Copa Libertadores do ano que vem e, apesar da distância para o líder Flamengo ser de onze pontos, não descarta a possibilidade de brigar pelo título nacional.

O Alvinegro está na quarta colocação, com 38 pontos ganhos e um jogo a menos que seus rivais diretos na briga pelos primeiros lugares na tabela de classificação. Na próxima quarta, o Timão visita a Chapecoense na Arena Condá em jogo da 22ª rodada do Brasileirão.

A próxima partida em sua arena será disputada no dia 10 de outubro, quinta-feira, contra o Athlético-PR. Vale lembrar que o Timão ainda não foi derrotado em casa neste Brasileirão, com 8 vitórias e quatro empates em 12 jogos realizados em Itaquera.

وحول كيفية تأثير عودة تومياسو وتيمبر على النشاط في فترة الانتقالات لشهر يناير، أكد أرتيتا: “علينا أن نأخذ في الاعتبار كل السيناريوهات، ونحتاج إلى أن يكون لدينا أطر زمنية واضحة أيضًا بشأن متى سيعود هؤلاء اللاعبون، وفي أي حالة، وعدد الدقائق التي سيلعبونها، بعد القيام بكل هذا العمل، سنحاول اتخاذ أفضل قرار للفريق”.

نشرت صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية تقريرًا عن خسارة الأهلي المصري في نصف نهائي كأس العالم للأندية أمام خصمه فلومينينسي البرازيلي مساء اليوم.

وخسر الأهلي بهدفين دون رد في إطار منافسات نصف نهائي البطولة، المُقامة حاليًا في المملكة العربية السعودية.

ويخوض فلومينينسي نهائي البطولة، في مشاركته الأولى، يوم الجمعة المقبل ضد الفائز من نصف النهائي الذي يجمع بين مانشستر سيتي وأوراوا.

وكتبت صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية: “فاز فلومينينسي بأول نصف نهائي لكأس العالم للأندية 2023، حيث يسعى مارسيلو إلى الفوز بكأس العالم للأندية للمرة الخامسة في مسيرته، ربما ضد مانشستر سيتي بقيادة بيب جوارديولا”.

وأضافت: “ركلة جزاء من أرياس بعد سقوط مارسيلو أدت إلى عدم توازن المباراة، وضغط الأهلي في النهاية لكن ما وجده هو هدف كينيدي في الدقيقة 90”.

وواصلت: “بدأت المباراة بطريقة لم تكن متوقعة حيث سيطر الأفارقة على الكرة رغم أن استحواذهم كان عقيمًا، ولم تأت الفرص إلا بعد أن سيطر فلومينينسي، الذي سدد مرتين تجاه المرمى في الشوط الأول”.

وأردفت: “واعتمد المصريون على الهجمات المرتدة العديدة، وأظهر فابيو في آخر فرصة كبيرة في الشوط الأول أنه حارس مرمى رائع، حيث تصدى لرأسية من كهربا من مسافة قريبة”.

وتابعت: “ثم جاءت اللحظة الحامسة، ومن هو أكثر خبرة من الشخص الذي فاز بـ 5 ألقاب في دوري أبطال أوروبا و4 كؤوس عالم للأندية مثل مارسيلو، أخل أسطورة ريال مدريد بتوازن المباراة من خلال فرض ركلة جزاء ضد بيرسي تاو، والتي نفذها آرياس بنجاح”.

واستمرت: “وعانى فلومينينسي، وحاول الأهلي مرارًا وتكرارًا الوصول إلى حافة الوقت الإضافي لكنهم لم يستطيعوا، والأكثر من ذلك أن كينيدي الذي دخل الملعب كبديل في الشوط الثاني، سجل”.

Oliver Robinson recorded career-best first-class figures as his impressive start to life with Sussex continued but it needed an equally commendable contribution from team-mate Luke Wells to keep the home side in a promising position against Warwickshire at Hove.Wells passed 50 for the first time this season as the hosts reached 140 for 5 by the close, 40 runs behind. His undefeated 73 at the top of the innings was invaluable on a day when no other batsman got past 35.Warwickshire had earlier been bowled out for 180 after choosing to bat first with Robinson taking the first six wickets to fall. A day after informally discussing the fate of the Champions League Twenty20 with Cricket Australia (CA) and Cricket South Africa (CSA), the other stakeholders of the tournament, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur dropped another hint that it may be scrapped. ESPNcricinfo understands that a meeting of the CLT20 governing council is likely to be convened soon to make the final call.”We still have CLT20. We will have meetings on how to make it a better tournament, or something in place of that. We just finished the season eight of the IPL which has been very successful. We will now start thinking on those lines [fate of CLT20],” Thakur told a group of select journalists in Kolkata on Monday.”If CLT20 cannot attract crowds in India or abroad, you need to sit down and think about other options. It’s in the interest of cricket. In the interest of cricket, you make changes. Like from Test cricket we switched to ODIs, then T20s and now we’ve the IPL. Over the last year or so, BCCI had not conducted fitness tests on the national team since they were playing non-stop cricket ahead of the World Cup. With another gruelling season of international cricket ahead though, beginning in Bangladesh and culminating with next year’s World Twenty20, BCCI have had a change of mind.
A meeting between BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya and secretary Anurag Thakur failed to break the deadlock over India’s support staff for the tour of Bangladesh. “You will get to know about coach and support staff before 6th of June,” Thakur told reporters after the meeting.

For more than a month, the fate of CLT20 has been hanging in the balance. BCCI, the majority stakeholder of the tournament, and the broadcaster aren’t keen on hosting it, but they will need a formal consent from CSA and CA before cancellation. The South African board seems to have accepted that CLT20 is a history, having already announced Africa T20 Cup to be held in September, when the CLT20 usually takes place.IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla had also said that the BCCI was planning to do away with CLT20, adding that they were exploring possible alternatives.Sections in the media had reported of a tournament involving the top four IPL teams from this season. Although Thakur denied those claims, he admitted that the Champions League has been struggling to attract any takers.”Would you like your product to go down?” he said “No. You will only get sponsors if you’ve a successful tournament. There will be no takers otherwise. Eventually, you will have to look for cricket first. For me, that one-month window has to be used properly in the interest of cricket and cricket board.”
