يُقام مساء اليوم السبت مؤتمرًا صحفيًا لمنتخب مصر في الملعب الأولمبي قبل نهائي بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا أمام السنغال.

ويلتقي منتخب مصر مع السنغال، مساء غد الأحد، في المباراة النهائية لبطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية 2021.

وعلم “بطولات” أن البرتغالي كارلوس كيروش المدير الفني لمنتخب مصر اختار وائل جمعة مدير المنتخب بدلًا منه في المؤتمر الصحفي، الذي يغيب عنه بسبب غيابه عن المباراة النهائية للطرد، بحسب ما تنص عليه لوائح البطولة.

كما يُمثل لاعبي منتخب مصر في المؤتمر الصحفي، القائد محمد صلاح.

Leeds United are interested in signing Sampdoria centre-back Omar Colley this summer, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.

Marcelo Bielsa and his players are preparing for Monday’s Premier League clash with Liverpool at Elland Road, in what is yet another test of the Whites’ top flight credentials.

Leeds clinched a memorable 2-1 win away to Manchester City in their last match, so confidence levels should be high going into the game, and if they push for a top ten finish this term, targets like Colley would be much more attainable this summer.

Away from the pitch, the Whites continue to be linked with new signings, with Colley one of those who has been in the news already this week.

According to Schira on Twitter, Leeds ‘have asked’ for information regarding the 25-cap Gambia international, who is expected to cost between €10-12 million (£8.7-10.4 million).

Given the number of reports linking Leeds with Colley, it does appear as though their interest is genuine, but it doesn’t make a huge amount of sense.

In Diego Llorente, Liam Cooper, Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk, Bielsa already has four strong centre-back options at his disposal, with the quartet making 59 Premier League starts between them this season.

Unless one of the four is moving on, it is hard to see how the manager will be able to juggle five central defenders in 2021/22, keeping them all happy, while other areas of the side, such as left-back, may also be in need of more immediate improvement.

وقال أبو تريكة في تصريحات عبر فضائية “بي إن سبورتس”: “أتمنى عدم مشاركة محمد صلاح، لأن الحالة النفسية اللي يمر بها صلاح ستجعل نسبة تعرضه للإصابة عالية”.

Rangers are well and truly the gift that keeps on giving this season as Steven Gerrard continues to engineer triumph after triumph at Ibrox.

The Gers have been the best team in the country by a mile this term and their win on Sunday afternoon provided plenty of evidence as to why.

Gerrard’s men were ruthless on the counter-attack and managed to stifle their opposition at regular intervals.

Rangers have already wrapped up the SPFL but this was perhaps one of their best moments of the season; knocking Celtic out of the Scottish Cup and commending them to a trophyless campaign.

Much of the performance has to be owed to the manager as Steven Davis and an own goal from Jonjoe Kenny earned them a 2-0 win.

The shining light in the team has to be a certain Nathan Patterson, rather than goalscorer Davis who was so often the heartbeat in the middle.

Gerrard had a big call to make this weekend with skipper James Tavernier back in the matchday squad.

The full-back has been absent for a number of weeks now with a knee injury and missed the last Old Firm derby. Though, after the performance of Patterson today he may well miss the next one too.

The young full-back was a rampant ball of energy down the right-hand flank and was unlucky not to score, firing the ball into the side netting on 29 minutes. He consistently had the beating of Diego Laxalt, a man who was described as “abysmal” by The Athletic’s Kieran Devlin.

Patterson was impressive in possession of the ball and used it to play quick passes before advancing on the overlap, providing to be a livewire on the flanks.

The £4.9k-per-week earner was intelligent and put in a seamless performance in what was his very first Old Firm start. Taking to Twitter during the 90 minutes, Chris Graham wrote: “You won’t see better than that in the first 45 mins from a young player. Absolutely brilliant.”

The 19-year-old quietened in the second half but proved he was able defensively with the Teddy Bears forced to sit back and defend their lead late on.

That being said, he put in a clinic in how to attack from defence in the first half. Speaking during the interval, David Weir said on Premier Sports’ live coverage that he was “outstanding.”

Weir then added: “He was playing with no fear today.”

That typifies the youngster; he is a fearless ball of energy. Today Patterson showed that he can rise to the task even when the stakes are high.

Watch out Tavernier; you have competition on your hands.

تحدث المستشار مرتضى منصور رئيس نادي الزمالك عن ملف تجديد عقود اللاعبين، مشيرًا إلى أنه سيجتمع معهم بعد الانتهاء من مواجهة ساجرادا الأنجولي في دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

وقال مرتضى منصور في المؤتمر الذي عقده اليوم بمقر نادي الزمالك: “كارتيرون مستمر مع الفريق، وهو قام بما عليه في مباراة بترو أتلتيكو الأنجولي وغياب التوفيق تسبب في التعادل”.

وأضاف: “بعد عودة الزمالك من أنجولا والانتهاء من المباراة المقبلة سيتم عقد جلسة مع اللاعبين الذين تنتهي عقودهم من أجل التجديد”.

وواصل: “كل اللاعبين في مباراة بترو اتليتكو أدوا ما عليهم وقاتلوا من أجل الدفاع عن اسم الزمالك، وحتى كارتيرون أدى ما عليه”.

ووجه رسالة لنادي فيوتشر قائلًا: “(بلاش نادي الزمالك)، لأن أحمد شوبير نائب رئيس ناديكم، وأنتم أخبرتم عمر كمال عبد الواحد ألا يعود لنا، لكن الأمر لن يكون على أهوائكم”.

وأضاف رئيس الزمالك: “إذا تحدثت سأبلغ الفيفا أن نادي فيوتشر يمثل حزبًا سياسيًا، وعيب أن يكون نائب رئيس النادي (متحرش)”.

وتابع: “عمر كمال لاعب ممتاز وموهوب وفذ، ويُشرفنا أن يعود لنادي الزمالك والفريق يحتاجه”.

وفي سياق متصل، أكد مرتضى منصور أنه هو رئيس مجلس إدارة قناة النادي، وشدد على أنه صاحب القرار بشأن رحيل أي إعلامي يعمل بها.

وتابع: “أطالب القناة بإزالة شريط حملة التبرعات الموجود على الشاشة، لأن النادي ليس في حاجة لذلك”.

وأبدى مرتضى منصور اندهاشه من قرار اللجنة السابقة لإدارة النادي بشأن وضع بند أحقية شراء في عقد إعارة محمد صبحي حارس مرمى الفريق ومستقبل حراسة المرمى في مصر مقابل 25 مليون جنيه.

وشدد على أن جميع اللاعبين المعارين سيعودون لصفوف الفريق الأبيض بنهاية الموسم الحالي.

Former West Ham striker Brian Deane has told The Transfer Tavern in an exclusive interview that his old club signing Odsonne Edouard this summer would not be a gamble.

According to Football Insider, West Ham co-owner David Sullivan is already working on a deal to bring the Celtic forward to the London Stadium as David Moyes looks to bolster his forward options.

Edouard has a very good goal record in Scotland, hitting the 20-goal mark once again this season, while he has 81 goals in 165 games in total for the Bhoys. The strength of the Scottish Premiership, however, may have some doubting whether the Frenchman would be as effective in English football’s top flight.

For Deane, though, as long as West Ham can get Edouard at a good price, it should not be too much of a gamble.

On the 23-year-old potentially joining the Hammers this summer, Deane told TT:

“I don’t think it’s a gamble if you get him for the right money. If you overpay for a player, then, yeah, it’s a gamble. Rhian Brewster at 20 years of age costing £20m, that’s a gamble.

“If you get Edouard for, let’s say £15m or £12m, for example, but it won’t. It’ll probably be more that they’re asking [for]. If you get him at that money, then it’s not so much a gamble.”

One other person who is also likely to feel that Edouard is a safe bet is Thierry Henry, who once told former Rangers striker Ally McCoist that his compatriot could go “right to the top”.
