Players at Newcastle United are said to have been ‘disgusted’ at the leaking of Karl Darlow being dropped before their 1-1 home draw against Wolves.

As per the Daily Mail, the 30-year-old goalkeeper had not been informed of the decision and found out through the media, and the players believe that Steve Bruce leaked the news to the press.

Despite Darlow challenging Bruce over the report, the former Aston Villa and Sunderland boss denied leaking the story.

The Mail have also reported of a training ground bust-up between Bruce and Matt Ritchie in which the manager was said to have physically confronted his player and barged into him after the former AFC Bournemouth ace called him a ‘coward’.

Newcastle in turmoil

It seems as if everything is far from rosy in the garden at the moment at St. James’ Park.

The North East club are currently a mere three points off of the drop zone after 26 games (BBC Sport), with a real chance of getting relegated from the Premier League down to the EFL Championship.

The pressure is clearly mounting on both Bruce and his players to deliver results from now until the end of the 2020/21 term and it is perhaps not a surprise to hear of the fallouts on Tyneside.

Nonetheless, they will have to put everything behind them now and group together to fight for their place in the top flight for another season.

كشفت تقارير صحفية اليوم الإثين عن إصابة لاعبين من منتخب الجزائر الأول لكرة القدم بـ فيروس كورونا “كوفيد -19″، وذلك قبل انطلاق بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا.

ويتواجد منتخب الجزائر في قطر لبدء معسكره استعدادًا لبطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية، والتي تبدأ في 9 يناير وتنتهي في 6 فبراير 2022.

موقع “dzfoot” الجزائري في نسخته الفرنسية، قال إن الثنائي محمد أمين توغاي وحسن بن عيادة قد أصيبا بـ فيروس كورونا.

وأشار التقرير إلى أن الثنائي قد دخلا الحجر الصحي، وسيظلان بعيدان عن المنتخب لعدة أيام، قبل إجراء اختبار آخر ومعرفة ما إذا كان بإمكانهم الانضمام إلى زملائهم في الفريق.

وتبدأ الجزائر معسكرها الاستعدادي لكأس الأمم الإفريقية في غضون يومين، وبذلك توغاي وبن عيادة لن يتواجدان في معسكر محاربي الصحراء.

الجزائر تتواجد في المجموعة الخامسة، بجانب منتخبات غينيا الاستوائية، سيراليون، وساحل العاج.

كشفت تقارير صحفية إسبانية، أن نادي برشلونة سئم من مفاوضاته لتجديد عقد الدولي الفرنسي عثمان ديمبلي، الذي ينتهي عقده في صيف 2022 المقبل.

وبدأ برشلونة مفاوضاته خلال الأيام الماضية لتجديد عقد اللاعب الفرنسي، خاصة مع اقتراب نهايته وإمكانية توصله لاتفاق مع أي نادٍ خلال هذه الفترة.

صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، أكدت أن المدير الرياضي في النادي ماتيو أليماني، لم يرغب في الرد على أي تساؤل بشأن قصة تجديد عقد ديمبلي، لكنه كان واضحًا بأن الأمر متروكًا الآن للوكيل موسى سيسوكو، وينتظر رده خلال هذا الأسبوع.

Skinner, whose trial at Sunderland is now underway, starting for the Wearsiders’ Under-23s in a North East derby against Newcastle United on Monday (Chronicle Live), could potentially leave Spurs if the temporary stay is deemed successful.

The talented defender signed his first professional deal with Tottenham just last year near his 18th birthday, with football.london touting a promising youngster as the club made sure to tie him down, but it appears his future is now up in the air.

As this development emerges, the chances of Skinner following the likes of Harry Kane, Harry Winks and Japhet Tanganga from the academy to the Tottenham first team now appear slim.

وحصل ياريد بايي قلب دفاع إثيوبيا على بطاقة حمراء في الدقيقة 12 من عمر الشوط الأول، كأول حالة طرد في البطولة.

وكان بايي قد عرقل مهاجم منتخب الرأس الأخضر المنفرد بالمرمى، ونال بطاقة صفراء من قبل حكم المباراة، إلا أن تقينة الفار تدخلت واستدعت الحكم، ليقرر إلغاء البطاقة الصفراء وحصول اللاعب على طرد مباشر.

Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has revealed he would like to move to the Premier League and has said it is one of his big dreams to play in England.

Morelos discusses exit

Morelos was heavily linked with a move away from Ibrox last summer, with him even said to have agreed personal terms with Ligue 1 side Lille. However, a transfer never materialised.

Speaking to Caracol Radio in Colombia, the £10.8m-valued 24-year-old has revealed his desire to play south of the border. He said:

“One of my big dreams is the Premier League.

“It is one of the best leagues in the world, there are many important players and important teams. If the opportunity presents itself on my way I am going to take it in the best way.

“It is a football very similar to Scottish football and I would like it very well.”

Unsurprising

This is far from surprising. Morelos has already indicated his desire in the past to play in a more prestigious league (Goal.com); and now that the Gers’ status as Premiership champions has been confirmed, he may well feel that his work in Scotland is done.

At the end of the day, many will always have felt he was destined to play in one of Europe’s top five leagues. Given the Gers have just romped to the title and are in with a chance of making the Europa League quarter-finals, the former HJK Helsinki man’s value may never be higher. A move this summer is perhaps best for all parties.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Wolves legend Steve Bull, who featured 561 times for the club, can relate to the troubles Willian Jose is facing right now.

Jose was brought in on loan from Real Sociedad last January to fill the void left by Raul Jimenez who suffered a fractured skull at the back end of last year, but is still yet to get off the mark for Wolves in his 10 appearances to date,

Bull understands the £18m-rated attacker’s frustrations though, claiming that the service hasn’t been good enough for the Brazillian and that his unselfish work for the team has not gone unnoticed.

Speaking on Jose’s misfortunes in the final third and how he would describe the striker’s time in the Midlands, Bull told FFC exclusively:

“He’s a worker you know, he’ll get his head down but I think he’s just getting a bit frustrated the moment as he’s not getting the chances.

“I can relate to where he’s coming from because I’d be as frustrated as he is, and I’d want to get the wingers and strangle them and say get that ball in the box.

Before signing for Wolves, Willian Jose had a record of 62 goals in 170 appearances for his parent club Real Sociedad.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s other option to play as a striker is 18-year old Fabio Silva who has found the net just twice in 27 games for Wolves which is likely to see Jose continue as the focal point at Molineux.
