كشف مصدر بنادي الزمالك تفاصيل جلسة مسئولي القلعة البيضاء مع اللاعب التونسي فرجاني ساسي لحسم ملف تجديد عقده.

وأوضح المصدر لـ”بطولات” أن عبد الحليم علي مدير الكرة بنادي الزمالك، عقد جلسة مع فرجاني ساسي في تونس اليوم، بحضور وسام العابدي ويامن بن ذكري ثنائي الفريق السابق، لاستكمال مهمة التجديد للاعب.

وأضاف المصدر أن ساسي أكد خلال الجلسة أنه يرغب في التجديد، قائلا: “أريد التجديد للزمالك وهذا موقفي، ولكن هناك بعض الأمور المالية يجب الاتفاق عليها، لكن صدقوني أريد البقاء”.

وأردف المصدر أن عبد الحليم قال له إن عليه إبداء بعض المرونة في التجديد، وأن استمراره رغبة الزمالك قبل أن تكون رغبته هو.

كما أوضح المصدر أن وسام العابدي تدخل في الحديث قائلا للاعب: “الشعبية التي تجدها في الزمالك لن تجدها في مكان آخر، ويجب أن يكون هناك بعض التنازلات من أجل البقاء، أنا لعبت في النادي وأعلم مدى جماهيريته وشعبيته”.

واختتم المصدر موضحًا أنه تم الاتفاق على عقد جلسة أخرى بعد مباراة الزمالك والترجي، من أجل استكمال الحديث في التفاوض.

جدير بالذكر أن الزمالك يواجه نظيره الترجي التونسي في المباراة المقرر إقامتها في السادسة من مساء يوم السبت المقبل، في الجولة الثالثة لمنافسات دور المجموعات لدوري أبطال إفريقيا.

As confirmed on Arsenal’s official club website, Nacho Monreal has joined Real Sociedad on a permanent transfer.

What’s the word?

The Spain international joined the Gunners from La Liga side Malaga in January 2013, and made 251 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals.

The versatile 33-year-old spent the majority of his Arsenal career at left-back, but provided able cover as a centre-half too.

Unai Emery started Monreal in the Gunners’ first three Premier League games of the season, but his departure means he will not play a part in the north London derby against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.

Timing

Just one day before one of the biggest games of the season for the club, and the Gunners have opted to confirm Monreal’s exit. The timing is bizarre to say the least. The Spaniard had been an ever-present for the north London side and was trusted lieutenant of Emery’s following the manager’s arrival last summer.

The 33-year-old is reliable defensively and would have undoubtedly been a safer option against Spurs than Sead Kolasinac. For all of the latter’s qualities going forward, chalking up seven Premier League assists throughout his career, his style of play comes with big question marks about how he does going back towards his own goal.

Couldn’t the Gunners simply have waited until the north London derby was over before giving the green-light to Monreal leaving? Reports claim that Sociedad are paying just a minimal amount to take him back to Spain, and so a move collapsing due to a possible injury would not have robbed Arsenal of big-money. Instead, they would have stood to gain on the pitch.

Monreal could have helped lead the side to victory against Spurs, before waving goodbye to the Emirates faithful. But because of some questionable decision-making, the Gunners head into the game without their best left-back.

Frenkie de Jong arrived at Barcelona as one of the most promising young midfielders in the whole world.

That the 22-year-old scooped the best young Dutch footballer of the year award and also UEFA’s best midfielder of the 2018/19 season speaks volumes about the scope of his potential.

These were not small achievements by any stretch of the imagination and De Jong very much deserved the acclaim.

But the start to his career in the Catalan capital has been far from perfect. Barcelona registered only one win the first three games they played in the new 2019/20 La Liga season, and tallied a defeat and a draw in the process as well.

Even though he played in all three of the clashes, the young Dutchman couldn’t really guide his team to glory. This was mostly due to the fact Ernesto Valverde deployed him in a rather new and unknown position and, naturally, his performances dipped slightly when he was away from his preferred role.

The fans were, of course, having none of it and they were quick to bash Valverde, emphasising that he will ruin the best midfielder in the world.

But De Jong was not phased by that in the slightest and maybe the biggest proof of that lies in his latest performance for his national team.

The 22-year-old was all over the pitch, tallying 86 touches and a sublime figure of 95% passing accuracy. He also accompanied that with three key passes, 4/4 long balls and 5/5 dribbles completed. Even by his high standards, that was truly a wonderful display that no doubt helped the team secure their convincing win over Estonia.

But looking at De Jong’s heatmap, we can see that he was actually played on the left and a bit higher up the pitch than we’re used to seeing him. And that’s exactly the role he was given by Valverde at Barcelona.

It seems that the 22-year-old is already adapting to the new role he’s operating in and Valverde should actually be taking notes and trying to understand what exactly needs changing because, if this game is any indication, it’s clear De Jong can definitely perform on the left.

Having such a talented and brilliant player is very much a luxury and it does feel like he will adapt to almost anything the coach throws at him.

Maybe the Blaugrana manager can really learn something from watching De Jong play for his national team and then put it to good use back in Catalonia.

وقال المصدر لـ”بطولات” إن معسكر منتخب مصر تم إلغاؤه بسبب صعوبة السفر والحالة الحالية لاتحاد اليد.

وأكمل: “كما تم إلغاء مباراة منتخب مصر الودية مع منتخب إسبانيا، التي كان من المقرر لها مارس الجاري”.

واختتم: “المنتخب سيخوض فترة التوقف الدولي في معسكر تدريبي داخل مصر، وقد يتضمن المعسكر مباريات ودية”.

أعلن البرازيلي ماركو المدرب المساعد لنادي الزمالك السابق، أن البرتغالي جيسفالدو فيريرا المدير الفني الأسبق للقلعة البيضاء، اعتزال التدريب.

وكان ماركو ضمن الجهاز المعاون لـ فيريرا خلال قيادته لنادي الزمالك في موسم 2015، وحصل مع الأبيض على بطولة الدوري المصري وكأس مصر.

وقال ماركو خلال تصريحات لقناة “الشمس” عبر برنامج “ملعب البلدوزر”: “فيريرا اعتزل التدريب نهائيًا ولن يعود مرة أخرى”.

وأضاف: “أتابع أندية الأهلي والزمالك والإسماعيلي والاتحاد السكندري، وكان هناك أحاديث من خلال وسيط أو وكيل لتدريب الإسماعيلي أو الاتحاد”.

وأتم: “ليس لدي مانع أن أدرب أي فريق في مصر، أحب اللاعبين المصريين، يمتلكون الموهبة ومعجب بهم”.

ذكرت تقارير صحفية إسبانية، أنّ نادي بايرن ميونخ الألماني، يستهدف ضم أحد لاعبي ريال مدريد، خلال نافذة الانتقالات الصيفية القادمة.

بايرن ميونخ يسعى لتعزيز صفوفه من أجل تقوية خطوطه، وخاصًة الوسط، من أجل مواصلة الحفاظ على التواجد على منصات التتويج.

وبحسب صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية، فإن بايرن ميونخ، يريد التعاقد مع الدولي الأوروجوياني فيديريكو فالفيردي، لاعب وسط النادي الملكي في الصيف القادم.

وأوضحت أنّ ريال مدريد أبلغوا مسؤولي بايرن ميونخ، أنّ فالفيردي بالنسبة لهم لا يُمَس ولا توجد أي نية في التفريط في صاحب الـ”22″ عامًا.

فالفيردي يُعد من الركائز الأساسية داخل ريال مدريد، والأوروجوياني، هذا الموسم شارك في 23 مباراة بمُختلف المسابقات، وتمكن من إحراز ثلاثة أهداف وصنع هدفًا.

Speaking on episode 71 of the Talking Shutt Podcast, Leeds Managing Director Angus Kinnear has revealed what was discussed during the opening round of talks with Marcelo Bielsa over his new contract.

What’s he said?

After Leeds failed to achieve promotion last season Bielsa’s future was always going to be in doubt.

This is a man who has been at some prestigious club’s around Europe but that didn’t seem to bother him as he put pen to paper on a new deal at Elland Road in May.

The Argentine has since led his team to the top of the table in the Championship after the first month and a half of the new campaign.

However, appearing on the Talking Shutt Podcast this week, Kinnear has noted how the talks happened and what was actually said in the meeting between him, Bielsa and Andrea Radrizzani. He commented:

“The first conversation we had was actually him talking through the analysis of what went wrong and what we need to do to put things right. After listening to him for an hour and a half I just looked at Andrea and said this is the man that’s going to take us up.

“It was so comprehensive and he knew exactly what we needed to do to get it right. He had a plan which was going to right the wrongs of last season. I think emotionally he wanted to stay.”

Passionate Bielsa

Kinnear’s comments are incredibly intriguing and it’s fascinating to see just how invested in the club Bielsa is.

Judging by those comments there is a definite project that the 64-year-old has in place and for him to bring that to the table during negotiations after the playoffs should bring great hope to Leeds.

The hierarchy did a brilliant job to get him on board in the first place but it appears that talks to get him to extend his stay in west Yorkshire were actually easier than anticipated.

Bielsa is clearly emotionally invested in proceedings and with Leeds sitting top of the league after their heartbreak last season, it only goes to show that he knew what needed to be done.

The Whites are in a perfect place at the moment and have been relatively unaffected by player sales. Could this be their year? Only time will tell, but with Bielsa at the helm they have an excellent chance.

Aston Villa could only come away with a draw against Burnley at Villa Park on Sunday, and Dean Smith’s replacement of Matt Targett with Neil Taylor could have cost the Villans all three points.

On the chalkboard

The Midlands outfit have not had the best start to the season despite plenty of investment in the summer, having won just one league match so far. They would have been hoping for all three points here in a winnable game, but they will have to make do with one.

They did take the lead twice, and were 1-0 up when Targett picked up a potential injury and needed to be taken off. Taylor had started all of the team’s Premier League fixtures up until this one, and so was therefore making his first appearance off the bench.

Nightmare

It was unfortunate that the former Southampton man was unable to carry on. He was having a good game up to the that point, contributing well defensively with three clearances and one tackle, and the home side had managed to keep the Clarets out with him at left back.

As the only realistic alternative on the bench, Smith had no choice but to throw on the Wales international, and he will no doubt be ruing his misfortune. Quite frankly, the 30-year-old had a nightmare.

Villa were leading upon his entrance, but it was all level within seven minutes of his introduction, and Taylor must shoulder a fair amount of the blame for the way he allowed Jay Rodriguez to totally outmuscle him in the air. Granted, the striker is taller, but it was still far too easy for him to nod into the corner.

The second Burnley goal was also partly down to him. Matt Lowton had far too much time to whip the ball in from the right and pick out Chris Wood, who was never going to miss from inside the six-yard box.

Overall, his performance just didn’t cut it, and he was a total passenger defensively. In the 29 minutes he was on the field, he failed to make a single tackle, interception or clearance. Burnley cleared attempted to play down the left flank and, although it didn’t work against Targett, the former Swansea man struggled.

Of course, Smith cannot really be blamed for the change as it was forced upon him. But he will certainly be frustrated by how badly the substitute turned out, and he will surely be hoping that Targett’s issue is not too serious.
