Speaking to German newspaper Sport Bild, reported via ESPN, Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita has urged the Reds to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

Keita previously played with Werner for the Bundesliga club, prior to his arrival at Anfield in the summer. The 24-year-old midfielder told the paper, “we played really well together at Leipzig, and he was one of my best mates.” When considering Werner’s future, he continued, “it’s clear: should he move, then I ask Timo to join us here at Liverpool.”

Werner’s form in recent seasons may well be attracting potential suitors. The 22-year-old has been prolific so far this season, racking up eleven goals in twenty Bundesliga appearances to date, as per Transfermarkt’s statistics.

Jurgen Klopp may be looking to bring a new striker to Anfield in the summer, with Daniel Sturridge’s current contract with the Reds set to expire at the end of this campaign. However, Werner will have a big job on his hands to displace either Mohamed Salah or Roberto Firmino for the right to lead the line for Liverpool.

وأوضح أيضًا أن لاعب تشيلسي سيخضع للفحص الطبي مع جنوى غدًا الجمعة، تمهيدًا للإعلان عن الصفقة.

يذكر أن زاباكوستا سبق ولعب في الدوري الإيطالي لصفوف روما وتورينو وأتلانتا.

دخل ناديا برشلونة ويوفنتوس في مفاوضات أولية خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية بشأن صفقة تبادلية دفاعية محتملة قبل انتهاء سوق الانتقالات الصيفي الحالي.

وكان برشلونة ويوفنتوس قد عقدا صفقة تبادلية فى خط الوسط قبل بداية الميركاتو بانتقال ارثر إلى إيطاليا في مقابل انضمام، ميراليم بيانيتش، إلى العملاق الكتالوني.

ولكن بحسب شبكة “كالتشيو ميركاتو” الإيطالية، يفكر برشلونة في التعاقد مع مدافع يوفنتوس، ماتيا دي تشيليو، الذي يجيد اللعب فى مركزي الظهير الأيمن والأيسر.

ووضع برشلونة اسم دي تشيليو ضمن قائمة اللاعبين الذين يرغب بالتعاقد معهم، خاصة مع اقتراب رحيل نيلسون سيميدو إلى ولفرهامبتون مقابل ٣٥ مليون يورو.

في المقابل، ينوي يوفنتوس إدخال ظهير برشلونة الأيسر، جونيور فيربو، ضمن الصفقة لتصبح تبادلية واستغلال رغبة النادي الكتالوني في التخلص من الإسباني.

الجدير بالذكر أن ليس يوفنتوس فقط المهتم بضم فيربو، هناك أيضا أتالانتا ونابولي الراغبان منذ فترة في حسم الصفقة لصالحهما لتدعيم الجبهة اليسرى الدفاعية.

How times have changed for Ander Herrera.

The last time he faced Chelsea in a FA Cup fixture at Stamford Bridge, he was sent off. Fast-forward two years, he’s scored a big goal and led the charge for them outclassing Chelsea in their own yard after almost seven years.

If anything, Herrera’s change in fortunes is due to the change in mentality. In 2017, Jose Mourinho played his famous ultra-defensive system and restricted Herrera to do the dirty on Eden Hazard. A foul too many eventually led to disaster. However, Solskjaer allowed the Spaniard freedom to roam forward and play to his strengths.

This turned out a masterstroke, as Herrera not only fulfilled his defensive duties perfectly but also made a clever run to score the opener. What proceeded was a professional, tidy performance from Herrera, who even made up for the curbed Nemanja Matic, who had to play safe after being booked earlier on.

The Spaniard helped his side control midfield with a 76% passing accuracy but always sniffed out the danger to stop Chelsea’s attacks. He made three tackles, three clearances and recovered possession eight times (stats via Fotmob). United’s fearless approach was embodied through the clever Herrera.

The wily midfielder proved his leadership ability by urging his men forward and always making up for his team-mates errors. He was vocal, decisive and creative in giving a complete performance.

Paul Pogba might’ve earned the spotlight for moments of brilliance, yet it was Herrera’s complete performance which proved qualities of a future Manchester United captain.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has only started one Premier League game and has been a spectator for most of this year, as his personal battle with manager Unai Emery has caused problems.

The former Germany international came off the bench on Sunday as Arsenal saw off Southampton at the Emirates, and he once again showed how good he can be.

Ozil’s 27-minute cameo suggested that Emery should put more trust in him, as he’s the ability to play a big part from here on in until the end of the season.

Arsenal moved ahead of Manchester United on Sunday following the Red Devils’ draw with Liverpool at Old Trafford. The Gunners will now host Bournemouth at the Emirates on Wednesday before making the short trip to Wembley on Saturday for the North London derby.

Of course, having Ozil, who is valued at £31.5 million (by Transfermarkt), confident and ready to produce this week is something that could benefit the Gunners massively on the field, as he is the type of player who could produce a match-winning performance.

Indeed, this week could be season-defining for the German as he has the perfect opportunity to cement a place in the side by putting in a couple of dominant performances. But, things could also go horribly wrong if he returns to his old ways, with one bad performance possibly ruining his chances of securing regular minutes.

نجح محمد الشناوي في مواصلة الحفاظ على شباكه خالية ببطولة الدوري الممتاز في موسمها الجاري، عندما واجه الأهلي نظيره نادي مصر، وحقق فوزٍ بثلاثية دون رد، شهدت تألق محمد الشناوي على مدار الـ90 دقيقة والتصدي لركلة جزاء سددها مصطفى سلطان.

خروج الشناوي من مباراة مصر بلا أهداف، هو “الكلين شيت” الثاني والعشرين له هذا الموسم، من أصل 28 مباراة خاضها هذا الموسم، بينما تلقت شباكه 6 أهداف فقط.

ويحتاج الحارس الدولي إلى “كلين شيت” واحد فقط في باقي مباريات الدوري ليعادل الرقم القياسي في عدد مرات الخروج بشباك نظيفة في موسم واحد عبر التاريخ والمسجل باسم شريف إكرامي حارس الأهلي أيضًا والذى حققه موسم 2016 – 2017 بالحفاظ على نظافة شباكه في 23 مباراة بالدوري.

 أرقام الشناوي مع الأهلي

شارك محمد الشناوي خلال مشواره مع الأهلي في 120 مباراة، ما بين بطولات الدوري الممتاز، وكأس مصر ودوري أبطال إفريقيا والسوبر المحلي، بواقع 10719 دقيقة، إذ  تشير إحصائيات الحارس الدولي إلى استقباله هدفًا واحدًا كل 159 دقيقة.

نجح محمد الشناوي في الخروج بشباك نظيفة في 73 مباراة، بينما مُنيت شباكه بـ67 هدفًا في الـ47 مباراة التي لم يفلح خلالهم بتحقيق “الكلين شيت”.

وكان أكثر معدل تهديفي تحقق في شباك الشناوي هو دخول مرماه 12 هدفًا في بطولة واحدة، وذلك بدوري أبطال افريقيا موسم 2017-2018، عندما شارك في 14 مباراة.

أما موسمي الدوري المحلي الماضيين 17-18، و18-19 واللذان شارك فيهما الشناوي بشكل أساسي فقد منيت شباكه بـ11 هدفًا في كل موسم منهما بينما حقق “الكلين شيت” في 14 مباراة بالموسم قبل الماضي، و13 في الموسم المنقضي.

أما هذا الموسم والذي شهد طفرة في مستوى الشناوي، فقد لعب ما يعادل 2520 دقيقة، استقبل خلالها 8 أهداف فقط، مما يعادل هدف واحد كل 315 دقيقة.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أن محمد الشناوي شارك أساسيًا في 3 مباريات كأس السوبر، نجح في الخروج من مواجهتين بشباك خاوية، فيما تلقى هدفين في مباراة واحدة، انتهت بفوز فريقه بنتيجة 3-2. 

ويعول جمهور النادي الأهلي على محمد الشناوي، قيادة فريقه للفوز ببطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا هذا الموسم، لاسيما وأن المارد الأحمر يتبقى له خطوة واحدة على موقعة “الفاينال” عندما يواجه الوداد البيضاوي المغربي في نصف النهائي.

رفض مانويل نوير، حارس مرمى وقائد فريق بايرن ميونخ تبرير الخسارة أمام هوفنهايم، اليوم الأحد.

Tottenham Hotspur came back from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw with their bitter rivals Arsenal in the north London derby at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon. A second half Harry Kane penalty cancelled out Aaron Ramsey’s early strike.

However, for a long time, it looked as though the goal that Spurs so desperately needed would never come.

For much of the match the Gunners were able to contain Mauricio Pochettino’s side with relative ease. Spurs’ midfield pairing of Moussa Sissoko and Victor Wanyama brought plenty of defensive diligence and physicality to the middle of the park, but they lacked forward drive, creativity and penetration in the final third.

The hosts struggled to carve out genuine goalscoring opportunities and looked devoid of ideas. The back three system was hampering them as it deprived them of an extra attacker. However, in the 59th minute, with his side chasing the game, Pochettino made the chance that would turn the tide of the match by replacing Wanyama with attacker Erik Lamela.

Following this substitution, Lamela joined the front line and Spurs switched to a back four, with left wing-back Danny Rose taking up a central midfield berth and centre-back Jan Vertonghen filling in at left-back.

Changing the game

Rose is not known for his ability to thrive in the middle of the park. However, the 28-year-old brought the kind of pace, drive and dynamism that had previously been lacking for Spurs in this part of the pitch. 

All of a sudden, Spurs were able to commit more numbers forward, whilst in the midfield they had a player in Rose willing to surge forward with pace and directness. This transition into a more aggressive approach brought on the pressure that ultimately led to Kane’s penalty. It was all facilitated by Rose’s change in role though, which Pochettino deserves huge credit for instigating.

Express & Star journalist Tim Spiers has waxed lyrical about Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Raul Jimenez and told the club to sign him on a permanent deal in what would be a major summer move.

What’s the word, then?

Well, the west Midlands outfit brought the striker to Molineux on a season-long loan deal from Benfica back in June, and he has made a big impact.

The 27-year-old’s goal in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday now means that he has 12 Premier League goals for the season – more than Marcus Rashford and Roberto Firmino among others – but he can also create too having provided seven assists in his 30 top-flight outings this term.

The Mexico international once again linked up well with Diogo Jota against the Blues, and his display would surely have impressed manager Nuno Santo once again.

Spiers tells Wolves to act

According to the journalist, the seventh-placed club in the Premier League have an option to sign the centre-forward for around £30m, backed up by The Mirror, and he believes he would be worth every penny.

Writing in The Express & Star, he said: “It goes without saying now, but Wolves must make his move from Benfica a permanent one in the summer.

“An option of around £30million is good value in today’s transfer market, purely on the goals and assists that he can provide.

“Add Jimenez’s tireless work rate, unselfish play, intelligent movement and team ethic into the mix and the fee is a bargain.”

Given the huge impact he has made in terms of goals and assists in his debut campaign at the highest level in England, you would have to agree that £30m could prove to be a bargain for Wanderers in the long term as they chase European football in the coming years.

وكان الأهلي قد أعلن عن رحيل فايلر أمس الخميس والتعاقد مع بيتسو موسيماني لتدريب القلعة الحمراء، بينما فسخ كارتيرون عقده مع الزمالك ليلجأ الأخير للتعاقد مع البرتغالي جيمي باتشيكو والذي بدأ مهمته بمواجهة المصري مساء أمس الخميس.

وقال البدري في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة أون تايم سبورتس: “لم يحدث أي تواصل بيني وبين فايلر قبل رحيله، وكنت أفكر في حضور تدريب في الأهلي والزمالك قبل مباريات دوري أبطال إفريقيا ولكنه لم يحدث”.

وتابع: “علاقتي وحبي لجماهير الأهلي لن ينقص أو تحدث زعزعة، والأهلي هو بيتي وأبدا لن أقلق من هذا الأمر، ولا يوجد أي تواصل مع إدارة القلعة الحمراء ولن تقطع علاقتي بالنادي”.

وعن رأيه في رحيل كارتيرون وفايلر مدربي الزمالك والأهلي؟، أجاب: “صعب أن أعلم أسباب رحيلهما، كارتيرون أرتكب خطأ كبير برحيله بالأخص مع نادي كبير كالزمالك، رغم تحقيقه نتائج جيدة وهو قرار خاطئ”.

وأردف: “فايلر كل الظروف كانت متاحة له بشكل مميز وجيدة جدًا في الأهلي، ومن خلال متابعتي النادي الأهلي يوفر له كل شىء، وبالتأكيد هو طلب أشياء غير مقبولة”.

وواصل مدرب منتخب مصر: “الأهلي والزمالك موفقان جدًا في اختياراتهما للمديرين الفنيين باتشيكو وماسيموني، وباتشيكو بأدائه ووقوفه على الخط في مباراة الأبيض ضد المصري لم نشعر أنه جديد على الفريق”.

وأشار: “موسيماني لديه خبرة في إفريقيا ولعب أمام الوداد من قبل ولديه خبرات إفريقية، ولم يجوز تعاقد الأهلي مع مدرب أجنبي في الفترة الحالية وقبل منافسات نصف نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا واختياره كان منطقيا وإيجابيا ومن غير المقبول تصنيفه بسبب جنسيته”.

واختتم: “التحدي الرئيسي لموسيماني هو نصف نهائي بطولة إفريقيا، وباتشيكو سيكون انسجامه أسرع لأنه تواجد من قبل مع الزمالك، وأجواء الأحمر بالنسبة لموسيماني مختلفة عن صن داونز ويجب مساعدته من الجهاز المعاون”.
