استأنف الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي الزمالك مرانه، اليوم الإثنين، على ملعب عبد اللطيف أبو رجيلة، بمقر القلعة البيضاء، بميت عقبة، استعدادًا للفترة المُقبلة.

وفي بداية المران، عقد أحمد سليمان، المشرف العام على الكرة، وعبد الواحد السيد مدير الفريق، جلسة مع اللاعبين.

وحرص أحمد سليمان على الحديث مع اللاعبين على أهمية استغلال فترة التوقف والاستعداد بجدية للمرحلة القادمة، خاصة وأن الزمالك سيعود للمنافسة في أكثر من بطولة على المستوى المحلي والقاري، وشدد على ضرورة التركيز وبذل أقصى جهد.

وأكد المشرف العام على الكرة للاعبين، أن الإدارة تعمل على توفير كافة متطلبات الفريق وتهيئة المناخ المناسب لهم من أجل المنافسة على كافة البطولات.

ومن جانبه، طالب عبد الواحد السيد اللاعبين بضرورة بذل أقصى جهد في الفترة الحالية، واستغلال فترة توقف الدوري بالشكل الأنسب.

Crystal Palace favourite Wilfried Zaha could join another Premier League club this summer, according to an update from journalist Dean Jones.

Is Zaha leaving Crystal Palace?

The 30-year-old is arguably the Eagles' greatest player of the Premier League era, becoming such a talismanic figure over such a long period. He has now scored 89 goals and registered 76 assists in a total of 455 appearances for the club, so often being the man to inspire Palace to victories down the years.

Zaha is out of contract at Selhurst Park at the end of this season and there is no sign of him extending his stay in south London as things stand, with a number of contract offers rejected by the Ivorian. A summer exit looks on the cards instead, with a host of teams likely to be interested in snapping him up.

A move to Cristiano Ronaldo's current club Al-Nassr has been mooted, although it now appears as though the winger could remain in this country.

Could winger stay in the Premier League?

Speaking to Give Me Sport, Jones failed to rule out of the idea of Zaha moving to another Premier League club ahead of next season:

"Most of the genuine options that I've heard are from Saudi Arabia, but then there are also opportunities for him, potentially, in France and in Italy.

"Obviously, the opportunity for a big payday here at this stage of his career is something that he's going to consider, but Zaha is still a serious football player and somebody that wants to be competitive.

"So I think that if the right Premier League move did open up, I do think he would consider it."

In an ideal world, Zaha will still have a late change of heart and commit his future to Palace, although in truth, it is hard to begrudge him a move elsewhere if he wants it, considering what great loyalty he has shown to the Eagles.

If the player hailed as "outstanding" by Ally McCoist does move on, the hope is that it is to a non-Premier League side, however, given how he could strengthen them and be a threat when coming up against Palace in a future fixture.

The idea of Zaha suddenly changing his mind and remaining at Selhurst Park certainly isn't out of the question, but at 30, he will know that this summer could be his last chance to get a big move elsewhere.

On Tuesday night, the FA Youth Cup final took place, with West Ham United captain U18s making the trip to north London to take on the Gunners.

Jack Wilshere’s men got off to a good start after scoring the opener early on, but Arsenal collapsed from there on in as the Irons scored five times without response to win the match 5-1.

While this will have been a big blow for the home side, their opponents were understandably jubilant at full-time – and the youngsters would have been delighted when senior club captain Rice showed his face in the winning team’s dressing room.

As captured in this footage online, the £60k-per-week England midfielder was seen dancing, singing and celebrating with the FA Youth Cup winners.

Of course, it’s no shock that he was happy for his team, but his sighting at the Emirates has sparked some interest online. After all, Rice has been strongly linked with a move to the Gunners in recent times.

What’s more, having gone on the record about wanting to play European football in the near future, Arsenal could be the perfect destination as they will almost certainly be playing in the Champions League next term.

Liverpool are making progress in the negotiations to potentially sign Alexis Mac Allister in the summer having presented their plans to his camp.

Will Liverpool land Mac Allister in the summer?

The Reds have put together five victories on the bounce now after their narrow win over Fulham at Anfield, however, Champions League football remains highly unlikely.

With Europa League football the most likely outcome from the 2022/23 campaign, Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to bring in some upgrades over the summer.

The slow start to the campaign has, ultimately, cost Liverpool in the race for the top four but their usual standards from challenging for the title are well adrift.

One player who they are believed to be targeting ahead of the summer is the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Mac Allister.

And he is a player who is expected to leave the Seagulls over the summer following is meteoric rise this season which has seen him become a world champion.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano has proved an update on the future of the 24-year-old Argentine with the Reds expressing their interest:

(3:30) "I can tell you that Liverpool feel they are making progress in the negotiation to sign Alexis Mac Allister. They presented the project to the player's side. So Liverpool had direct meeting to present their project to Alexis Mac Allister, they are going to push on the player's side and then they feel that they can close the deal with Brighton."

Would Mac Allister be a good fit for Liverpool?

The Reds are in need of some reinforcement in midfield over the summer with one of their current crop expected to be heading for the exit.

Indeed, veteran and versatile midfielder James Milner is expected to be leaving the club over the coming months with reports of interest from Brighton.

But this is already a midfield which has come under fire across the campaign with Michael Owen hitting out at their weaknesses earlier in the season.

Mac Allister is certainly a player who could provide that much-needed spark for Klopp's side given the form he has shown on the south coast this season.

The Argentine has been hailed as "magic" by presenter Jack Collins and it is clear to see why when he ranks inside the top 13th percentile for shot-creating actions (via FBref).

Jude Bellingham is the name who had been so heavily linked with a potential move to Anfield over the last year or so but it is believed a move for the 19-year-old has fallen through.

However, Mac Allister has recorded a higher pass completion rate (86.3%) than the Borussia Dortmund midfielder (81.3%) (via FBref).

Mac Allister is not a cheap alternative, though. This is a player who is expected to cost in the region of £70m over the summer.

What will be interesting, is whether Liverpool look to use Milner as potential leverage in the possible deal for the Argentine.

Tottenham Hotspur are still searching for a new manager, and Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim is "in the mix" to get the job, according to journalist Jack Pitt-Brooke.

What's the latest Tottenham manager news?

Julian Nagelsmann is still Tottenham's main target, according to a recent report from The Telegraph, however a potential obstacle is the fact the German would require an expensive compensation bill, as they may have to pay Bayern Munich over £10m.

That said, chairman Daniel Levy is still "pushing" to appoint the 35-year-old, with Florian Plettenberg claiming that "more talks" are pencilled in, and he may be keen on joining, given that he believes that Spurs have "big potential".

If the Lilywhites miss out on their top target, however, they could also look at appointing Amorim, who would be open to making the switch to north London at the end of the season, according to journalist Dan Kilpatrick.

Taking to Twitter, The Athletic journalist Pitt-Brooke has recently confirmed the Sporting CP tactician is in the running for the job, and he believes it could be a very shrewd appointment, saying:

"My own personal view has been that the best thing for Spurs would be to appoint someone who represented something of Pochettino 2014: probably Amorim or De Zerbi. And they’re both still in the mix. But other candidates could claim to be that too."

However, in an article produced for the Athletic, Pitt-Brooke clarifies the 38-year-old has a €20m (£17.7m) release clause for non-Portuguese clubs included in his contract, so he would not come cheap.

Should Tottenham appoint Ruben Amorim?

It may be time for Spurs to appoint an up-and-coming manager once again, with the more established names, such as Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, failing to deliver in north London.

Pitt-Brooke has previously lauded the Sporting CP boss as "the most exciting young manager in European football", while he has also received praise from Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

During his time in the Primeira Liga, the tactician has won five trophies, while he has recently led his side to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

The Portuguese side defeated Arsenal en-route to the quarters before narrowly coming up short against Juventus, so the Lisboa-born manager now has a decent amount of experience managing in European competition.

The only sticking point about appointing Amorim is his huge release clause, and given that Nagelsmann is available for a lot less, the former Bayern Munich manager should remain Tottenham's number one target this summer.
